Online Meditation Classes – Live Sessions From Anywhere
I teach live guided meditation over Zoom or video call. Same techniques I use in person—posture correction, breath awareness, and mindfulness—now available from your home. Join from anywhere in India or abroad.

Online meditation classes with Wellness with Shikkha are live guided sessions that focus on mindfulness, breath, and relaxation—not exercise or asanas. You log in from home, sit comfortably on a chair or cushion, and are guided through simple, calm practices that you can repeat on your own later. This page is for online meditation only; if you are looking for physical yoga postures and stretching, see my online yoga classes page.
What You Actually Do in an Online Meditation Class
Online meditation is mostly stillness and awareness. A typical class includes:
- Arriving and posture check – finding a comfortable sitting position (chair or cushion), gentle spine alignment, and support so you can sit without strain.
- Breath awareness – observing the natural breath, learning simple rhythms, and using the breath to calm the mind.
- Guided practice – mindfulness, body scan, visualisation, mantra, or gratitude-based meditations depending on your goal.
- Quiet time and reflection – a short silent period, followed by space for questions or sharing if you wish.
Everything is taught in plain language, with options for complete beginners and those who struggle to “switch off”.
How an Online Session Flows With Me
- Before the session – You tell me why you want to meditate (stress, anxiety, sleep, focus, spiritual growth, etc.). I send you the meeting link and a few simple tips: headphones if possible, phone on silent, comfortable clothing, a quiet corner.
- During the session – You join the live call. I start with posture and breath, then move into a guided meditation chosen for your goal—grounding breathwork for anxiety, body scan for sleep, or open-awareness practice for focus. I watch you throughout and give real-time guidance.
- After the session – I give you a short home routine (5–15 minutes) that fits into your day so you can continue practicing between our sessions.
You don’t need prior experience, special equipment, or a large space—just somewhere you won’t be disturbed.
When Online Meditation Helps Most
In my experience, online meditation is especially useful if you:
- Feel mentally overloaded and want a clear way to unwind at the end of the day. I often work with IT professionals who’ve tried apps and YouTube videos but need real, personalized guidance.
- Struggle with worry or anxiety and need grounding practices you can repeat on your own. The structure of working with a teacher—rather than alone—helps anxious people feel less lost.
- Have sleep issues and want a calm pre-sleep ritual instead of more screen time. We do it early enough that it doesn’t interfere with winding down.
- Want better focus and clarity for work or study without stimulants. Several of my students are preparing for exams or managing demanding jobs.
- Already practice yoga or exercise but want to add a quieter inner practice.
Because sessions are live, you can tell me what’s happening in your life so the practice is tuned to your current phase.
Who Online Meditation Is Ideal For
- Professionals and entrepreneurs who need a clear mind for decisions and creative work. I’ve worked with startup founders, senior managers, and people returning to work after burnout.
- Parents and caregivers who want a peaceful space just for themselves. Many join from home after kids go to bed.
- Students dealing with exam pressure, performance anxiety, or overthinking. I’ve taught CA students, engineering students, and people preparing for competitive exams.
- People living outside Bangalore or outside India who want to work with me but can’t attend in person. I have students in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, the US, and UK.
- Anyone curious about mindfulness and breathwork but unsure where to begin.
If you’re recovering from illness or prefer to avoid physical strain, online meditation is gentler than an asana-based class.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do online meditation classes work?
You book a slot with me, I send you a Zoom or video call link, and we meet at the scheduled time. You need a quiet space and stable internet. I guide you through posture, breath awareness, and the main practice live—exactly like I would in person.
Are online meditation classes good for beginners?
Absolutely. Most of my online students start with zero experience. I teach posture, breath, and focus step by step. No prior experience needed—I'll start from scratch.
Can I use online meditation for stress?
Yes. Online meditation for stress is one of the main reasons people come to me. I use breath awareness, body scan, and relaxation techniques that you can practice at home. Many of my students are busy professionals dealing with work pressure.
Do you offer online meditation for anxiety?
Yes. I teach grounding, breath focus, and simple mindfulness techniques in a calm, structured way. I tailor sessions to your comfort level. Many anxious people prefer online because they don't have to leave home.
Are the meditation sessions live or recorded?
All my online meditation classes are live. You join a real-time session with me, so you get guided instruction and can ask questions. I keep sessions small.
What do I need for online meditation at home?
A quiet spot, a device with camera and microphone, and stable internet. A chair or cushion for sitting is helpful. That's it—I'll send you tips when you book.
Can I join from outside India?
Yes. I work with students across time zones. We'll schedule according to your time zone and I'll send the video link. Same guided practice as I do in person.
How long is each online meditation session?
A typical session runs 45–60 minutes (group) or 45–75 minutes (one-to-one), including posture setup, breath awareness, main practice, and closing.
